I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at SUNY Empire State University. Previously, I was a lecturer at the University of Amsterdam, where I taught courses in Data Science and Information Systems. I also served as a senior postdoctoral researcher at Delft University of Technology, focusing on agent-based modeling for airport passenger handling. Before that, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where my research centered on adaptive temporal-causal network models. Throughout my career, I have been honored with several awards, including the IBM Award for Science Excellence in 2021 and multiple best paper awards. I have supervised numerous bachelor's and master's students, collaborated with companies such as Elsevier and Air France-KLM, and participated in interdisciplinary research projects. My work includes developing strategies for airport operations and exploring cognitive models in various contexts. Additionally, I hold a University Teaching Qualification, highlighting my commitment to high-quality education.
