Ruth Losack is a mentor that works in the Arts and Humanities division in the department of Literature, Communication and Cultural Studies. Ruth, an alumna of ESC (’99), earned a certificate at New School University in English Language Teaching and an M.A. in English with a concentration in Rhetoric and Linguistics at CUNY College of Staten Island. She offers studies in a variety of disciplines, including English composition, creative writing, topics in modern, contemporary, and world literature, the English language, TESOL pedagogy, and linguistics with a particular focus on language use, variation and change.
