Mentor Wasserlauf hold a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Arizona and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Wright State University. His background in manufacturing, distribution and small business management is extensive. With thirty-seven years of continues involvement working in industry, He has held positions as an Industrial Product Manager, Industrial Sales Engineer and Sales Representative for a number of small to medium sized corporations. In these roles he developed material and packaging systems for entities running from small operations to Fortune 500 corporations. He has also has entrepreneurial and small business management expertise gained by planning, financing, and implementing a start-up distribution company.
Mentor Wasserlauf offers a broad range of introductory and advanced undergraduate level studies. Studies like Principles of Marketing, Principles of Management, Business Ethics, Marketing Management, and Strategic Management. Other studies range from Consumer Behavior to Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship. HIs personal teaching philosophy is grounded in Andragogy and Constructivism, and is influenced by such scholars in the filed as Malcolm Knowles and John Dewey. Mentor Wasserlauf engages students where they “are”, facilitating the course work by suggesting resources and learning activities that the student might find interesting and helpful with their own personal and professional aspirations.
