Gennaro Bonfiglio is a part-time faculty lecturer and mentor at Empire State University employed since September 2010. He is a retired FDNY Battalion Chief/Commander who previously worked in the Hazardous Materials Battalion and served New York City for 44 years. He is a married father of 4 children and grandfather of 2 identical twins. His interests include physical fitness, playing and watching many types of sports, reading books and listening to music. Hobbies include playing the drums and singing in a Black Sabbath tribute band, appearing at a venue near you, in the Hudson Valley and downstate area. He is a proud conscientious objector to social media and has somehow survived without My Space, Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Twitter, Meta and Tik Tok.
