Dr. Bejou is currently serving as a tenured professor of marketing at SUNY Empire State College. Dr. Bejou has over 30 years of experience in higher education as a faculty member, and has moved up through all faculty ranks including adjunct faculty, instructor, assistant professor, associate professor, and tenured professor. He was nominated for the University of North Carolina-Wilmington (UNCW) “Chancellor Teaching Excellence Award,” and was identified by the UNCW graduates as an “Impact Professor,” a faculty member who had a significant impact on students. He was also actively involved with UNCW’s Faculty Senate, serving as Chair of the Research Committee and as a member of Undergraduate Curriculum Committee. Dr. Bejou also has 20 years of executive and senior level administration experience in higher education, and has progressively moved up through all the administrative ranks, serving as program chair, division head of behavioral sciences and business, dean of the school of business, dean of the school of business and economics, dean of the college of business and social sciences, graduate dean, vice provost, vice president for academic affairs, and Provost and Executive VPAA.
