Cammie Baker-Clancy

Cammie Baker Clancy's experience in the field of undergraduate and graduate enrollment management includes positions at several institutions as an Admissions Counselor, Coordinator of Enrollment Management Projects, Director of Admissions (undergraduate), Assistant Director of Graduate Programs, and presently the Director of Graduate Outreach and Admissions for the School for Graduate Studies at SUNY Empire State College.  

 

Her work focuses on adult learners and access to higher education and has presented at state and national conferences on addressing the academic needs of the adult learner in online programs, connecting expertise with graduate education, ethical issues in graduate enrollment management, alleviating plagiarism in the admissions process, and nontraditional approaches to marketing graduate programs.  

 

Cammie has been involved in numerous professional organizations having held leadership positions in the State University of New York College Admissions Professionals (SUNYCAP) as Vice President and President, as well as, serving on the Executive Board of NAGAP, the Association for Graduate Enrollment Management, as chair of the Professional Development Institutes (2008-12), chair of the Chapter Committee (2012-14), and chair of the Education Committee (2016-2018). She is currently a member of the Experts Bureau of NAGAP and is co-convener of the inaugural Leadership Academy.

She is the recipient of The State University of New York Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service (1993), and has been recognized for her service to SUNYCAP and NAGAP professional organizations. Most recently, she received the NAGAP Distinguished Service Award  (2016).
